The apartment, while quite spacious for a one-bedroom unit, felt confined and dark despite large windows with vast views of the northern suburbs of the Washington DC Metro region. Our first task was to open the space to let daylight infiltrate the full depth of the space and create an expansive area for entertaining guests. Our client’s excellent taste in mid-century modern furniture was an ideal fit for this newly renovated space.
