Nestled amongst the trees and overlooking the waterfalls in Great Falls Park, our client wants to take advantage of the view by adding a third level. To do so, the existing structure will be demolished because it cannot support a third level and does not meet local building code standards. Remaining cognizant of our environmental footprint, the project will include green roofs, green walls, photovoltaic panels, garden terraces, rainwater harvesting, and passive design strategies. The client entertains often, so many of the spaces throughout the house will be redesigned with the guest experience in mind.
